The Roma in Ukraine is a resilient people. They do not usually live in mainstream society, but often build their villages and camps on the outskirts of rural towns and work within these towns or their own communities. The children in this community often don't get proper education and can't read or write by the time they're adults, making it difficult to integrate into Ukrainian society.
This project follows a non-profit organization that builds primary schools in Roma villages to provide children with basic education if they want it.
It focuses on the authentic lifestyle of the Roma people and how the organization affects their development through education.
